My laptop screen is completely black, no bios screen is showing or anything. How can i find the cmos battery to reset the bios if thats what causing the issue? My laptop model is an asus s510u. I did search for the cmos battery but did not find it. Even put out the motherboard and lookt on the other side but disnt find it. Perhaps this model doeant have it? I wonder how i can get the screen back. Last thing i saw was a loading bar when the it booted up after a windows update, i hit shutdown accidentally during that booting install and now its black for the screen. How can i reset this?

The CMOS battery is most likely on the reverse side of the motherboard. You will need to remove it to get to it.
