I was doing some research on intels turbo boost and i originally thought it booster the power of a core if an application was only utilising one core. Bit i read somewhere that it is like overclocking! What exactly is turbo boost?

Hi I have recently bought a Dell XPS 15. It is equipped with Nvidia Optimus technology. Does anyone know if you can manually change to the Nvidia Graphics card as opposed to the Intel graphics card? Currently it seems to be demand managed? Also is there any way to view/manage Intel Turbo...
