For some reason my computer shuts down after approx. 30 mins. of gameplay of most games. If anyone has an idea as to why this happens or has experienced it, please reply.

On beforehand, thank you for your help.

Did you start using a video card recently? When it shuts down do you see the "Blue Screen of Death"?

Thank you for the heads up on the temperature. I checked it and it turns out my computer is set to shut down when the processor reaches 49C. I rebooted ASAP after shutdown and checked it. Turned out to be 48C. So, I assume that is the reason. I'm running an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ processor. Any cooling systems that you would recommend?

Wait... Disregard the above... Right now, my core is reading approx. 60C... So really, I'm not that sure anymore... Must have misunderstood something along the way.

I'm not really sure what the problem is, if you've just bought a computer and it does that theres something wrong with the PC, have you used the PC for a while and then it shuts down during gaming? You also said your core is reading 60C and your comp shuts down when the processors reaches 49C o.O I'm confused here.
