Stupid fans

I cannot for the life of me, find out how to control the speed of my fans.
Speed fan does not work.
motherboard monitor 5 does not work.
I am clueless on how to configure them.
And yes they are plugged into the motherboard.
This is my coustom PC.
intel E6750 2.66 ghz (OC'd To 2.8GHz)
Foxconn 45cmx
ATI 128 MB(lost the box)
1GB DDR2 RAM
250 GB seagate HD
395W PSU(is the PSU the Prob?)
Any information could be useful. plz tell me if im in the right thread.

motherboard fan control is primitive at best ..... usually unreliable


you would be much better off to get a 5.25 inch fan speed controller

Do you have the FoxOne utility installed? That should allow you to tinker with the fan speeds.

your spinning your wheels needlessly ...... get yourself a cheap fan speed controller that fits in a 5.25 inch drive bay ...... just like your dvd drive does ...............

then you can play with your fan speeds at will !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
