thanks jamman for the info., but that DYSE company does not ship UPS, so in order to ship the $14.00 SPDIF Module, I have to pay $75.00 in shipping!!!!

If you know of anywhere else to find this SPDIF thing?
With a decent shipping price?

I bought the ASUS A7V333 motherboard recently, and it features a header for and SPDIF module. However, I have searched exhaustively for the required SPDIF module and it is no where to be found. Does anyone know where I could purchase this item?

The motherboard comes with 6-channel audio, the SPDIF piece that i need connects to the motherboard and fits in a back PCI slot, its used to have digital outs for your DVD, CD Burner, and so on....
I've been looking at those Denon Digital Tables and those are nice....

The manual that I got for the board shows a picture of this SPDIF card but I haven' t been able to find it anywhere!

You could try looking here:

https://www.intelliware.com.au/harddisk/soundcar.htm

or here:

https://www.directron.com/sound---spe...und-cards.html

They have what your looking for but as far as comp. and exactly what your looking for I dont know so I just gave the general pages to each of these sites. Let me know if it helps... if not I'll look around some more.

The odd thing about this is, most SB Live cards have a SPDIF output on the back of them, resembling a mini plug. Is this the same type?
