Hello!
I built my computer a few months ago, and now i have a problem with it.
It shuts down randomly, doesnt matter if i start a CPU demanding application or if i leave it alone, it will shut down when it pleases. When it does that, the screen goes black, GPU fan starts spinning at 100%, all the other fans spin normaly, and there are 3 red lights gliwing on my GPU. If i press the reset button, nothing happens. Then i have to unplug it from the wall socket and turn it back on. What could be the problem?

rig:
Asus rampage II extreme x58
Intel Core i7 920 CPU
Sapphire HD4870 1GB Toxic edition GPU
Corsair Dominator 1600MHz 3x2GB Ram
Corsair 750TX PSU

*Edited RAM

Try only one stick of ram and see what happens and if that doesn't fix it, swap another stick in there to try.

Will try that next time when it shuts down, like i said, its completely random, it could go weeks before shutting down, or it can shut down up to 7 times a day.

Just to begin to check things, list the temps and voltages in the bios. The more information we have will help to solve general issues with possible problems you are seeing. If this is random, might try only one stick of ram and see if it ever tanks on you instead of waiting until it does. Just a suggestion.
