Hello all,

I'm having a very odd problem with my win 2003 server:

Came in one day and the server was halted. Couldn't revive it so I had to shut it off. Turned it on and got a strange error: Bad checksum in bios or something to that effect...it began to search for a recovery disk but then it halted and I again had to shut it off.

After that the computer will sometimes load the bios and try to load windows, after which it will proceed to crash again. After the crash I try to boot and I get no bios, no posts, no nothing.

I wait a while and then it'll boot the bios but again it crashes. Sometimes it halts when I am attempting to setup the bios.

i have tried the following:

Replaced the video card, memory, hard drives.
Flashed the bios to the latest Asus revision.
Cleared the cmos, change the battery, set the bios to default settings.
Tried to boot windows in safe mode (If I can get that far)--just reboots after a certain point.

I thought this was a windows issue at first but now I'm wondering if my mobo is the problem.

system:

Asus P5AD2 Premium
Intel 3.2 GHz
MSI RX600XT-TD128E
2 SATA HD Seagate RAID-1

Help!

Thanks so much!
