Other OS not loading

Hi friends,
My System is Vista 400Mz,VM180 ,256 MB RAM,
It is accepting to load win98SE only .Iam not able to load other softwares like XP,Redhat,WIN2000,First it boots from CD and loads everything.After restart system hangs.Please suggest.

But for previous system with 200Mz,same ram windows 2000 wor,Redhat7.2 worked fine.But this board Iam unabe to load same softwares.

My System

Hi,

I would run https://www.memtest86.com/ you don't need a os installed to run memtest.

If you have more than one stick of ram installed test each stick individually.

Run memtest at least 3 full passes if it shows errors that is most likely the problem.

Have have seen buggy ram modulars refuse to let XP or 2000 install but yet 98 or ME install and run but eventually produce errors witch go unexplained.
