My System


Hi TSF this is a re post please help me my motherboard died at least i think. I tested every thing the PSU works the graphics card works the processor gets hot and the motherboard wont start if the processor isn't in place so i think the processor works tried 4 different memory sticks so can't be that the monitor works tried the graphics card and monitor on different computers tried different PSU tried removing the cmos battery still no luck how can i repair it
the specs are
Intel Inside P4 2.8 GHz soccet478 CPU
DDR 400 memory
VisionTek ATI RADEON HD 2400 PRO Graphics Card
Antec 430Watt PSU
Intel soccet478 motherboard model number D875PBZ

Hi, have you tried a different processor? It may get hot, but still may be faulty.

Remember to apply the thermal paste in the proper manner, after cleaning both the processor and heatsink.

Try your processor in a different pc/motherboard. It's the only component left to test.
Is this your motherboard?
