For the last 48 hours my keybooard has been acting strange. Its a Microsoft 'natural' keyboard with the three lights between the centre of the left hand and right hand keys. When you turn the PC off, the lights flash on and off continously.[they dont normally]...There is also a green light on the Motherboard lit which isnt normally on [i have a see through case].Then the next time i went on the PC the keyboard wouldnt work at all, so i swapped the connector with the mouse connector on the motherboard and the mouse wouldnt work. So i swapped them back, re booted and nothing would come on. Its done this over and over for the last 48 hours, managed to get everything working now, so am mailing here whilst i can. Its just taken me an hour or so to get everything to work. Motherboard defunct ??
Thanks for any help before i take it to the very expensive repair shop....

My System

Boot into safe mode (F8 after POST the Safe Mode).
If its still an issue in this mode, it should indicate hardware problems. Dont automatically assume the motherboard though, peripherals are the ones constantly moving and being worn out...
