OK so this is a January 2007 build.
Evga 680i
Evga 8800GTX
WD Raptor 150GB x2 Raid0
Thermaltake tough power 850w
2 GB Corsair Dominator 800MHz
Soundblaster Progamer
Core 2 6800x

This build worked fine for about 1 1/2 years
overclocked and all.

About 6 months ago I started to have problems.
First started with the PC booting but the screen stayed black.
RMA mb Problem fixed (probable PCI-E connector failed)

Next BSOD started, traced some of the error codes,
came up with potential memory problems and potential Nvidia driver issues.
RMA ram, Replace Video card to 260GTX.
BSOD seemed to stop mostly, though it did happen twice after, during heavy gaming.

Next thing that happened was that I lost half of my on board USB ports called EVGA told to update Bios. Then things got worse.

My PC would boot all the way to the windows loading screen, screen would go black like normal just before the welcome screen, then nothing for about 5 minutes, then finally finish loading to windows.
Once Windows is up I have no problems.

If i try to reboot, the system hangs at that same spot till I shut off the power supply.
I can only get my PC to start when it has been off for at least 4 hours.

SO I have replaced MB, Ram, Video card, and Power supply. (PS replaced just in case)
Tested the hard drive, no errors.
Ran all test/stress programs no errors
Reinstalled XP, reset bios using original bios that worked.
Installed original drivers.

HELP ME PLEASE

You replaced MB, Ram, Video card, PSU, and reloaded windows and it won't boot unless it has been off for 4 hours?
Is this the same problem you started with?
Was the motherboard new, Repaired or a Reconditioned replacement?
What are you seeing for voltages and temps in the Bios? When it won't boot to windows.

No this is not the same problem , durning the first problem the screen would not light up at all even after it booted, and I sometimes was able to jiggle the video card and get the screen to turn on.
This time the screen comes on np.

I don't know for sure but I think it was a new MB they sent me.

The voltages are
Cpu 1.875V
Ram 2.1V
Fsb 1.45V
nForce SPP 1.50V

Yes I did replace the MB, Ram, Video card and PSU. In that order and not at the same time.

Thanks in advance

Voltages we're looking for are 12v, 3.3v, 5v, and the CPU and motherboard temps.

When did the current problem start? (which piece was installed before it started)

Before this last problem came up the half USB ports stopped working that's when I updated the bios, before that I had replaced the video card.

The most recent thing I did was to try the new PSU to fix this current problem.

Well the temps are, when OCed (BTW I am now running at stock speed)
no load /load
CPU 40c/48c
MB 38c/45c
Room 25.5c

I don't know how to test the PSU volts.

The 2 PSU that I have tried are

The original

The replacement

You should have a page in the Bios which will give you those readings (PC health or similar). When the system hangs have you tried clearing the CMOS to see if it will then boot?

When I get home I will check in the BIOS for the Volts.

I have cleared the cmos a few times then gone into the bios to adjust the volts, set the Raid and disable the floppy drive then reboot and still no help.

The other thing I have yet to try is to install the OS on a single drive not as a raid array.

I also own a copy of Vista and I may try to install that on the other drive??

If you were to have a drive going bad in the Array you could see this then when the drive cools off it works ok, You should be able to get the drive temps from Everest or the drive manufacturers test program, What brand and model drives are they?

First here are the volts they seem normal:
3.3v 23.24v
3.3v dual @3.24v
12v @12.14v
5v @5.06v
vbat @3.06V

I feel like a noob cause I can't get the iso cd to boot. When I try, I get left at the a: prompt.
I made the boot disc with Nero

Ok lets hope that 3.3v reading is 3.24v,
If you look at the CD in Explorer do you see files or the ISO image file?

This morning I tried to reinstall windows on both one drive (no raid)
and on the raid setup.
The sys hung
at the blue windows setup screen, setup loaded everything then the message, setup is starting windows, then nothing.
Also when I hit Ctrl Alt Del instead of rebooting, half the time the sys shuts down completely

Magic:)

The file on the CD should not be an ISO which is an image, In Nero there should be a setting to burn ISO that will expand the ISO in to usable files or use Imgburn > https://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download

Same voltages as in 23.24v or 3.24?

Were you loading XP or Vista? Did you set the drive to IDE mode in the Bios?
