Hi and Welcome to TSF!

There could have been a short inside the laptop that is preventing the start or has killed the internals. Unfortunately, these sort of electrical problems are not easily diagnosed.

How old is the laptop you are using?

As an ongoing problem, it does sound like whatever electrical fault it had finally killed the unit.

Unfortunately not. Electrical problems can be amongst any component within the computer.
