How to fix CMOS battery low

OS: XP Pro-7



Replace the battery. It's located on the lower portion of the Mobo and is about the size of a quarter.

If this is a desk top yes, laptop not necessarily on the MOB. Laptops may not look like a quarter. CMOS don't not recharge that I know of.

My System


Look at the CMOS battery as mentioned it is about the size of a quarter (Desktop) look at the info on the battery something like CR2035 or similar. Replace with the same type.
