Hello Friends;
I'm using and I7 3930k processor with asus Rampage 4.
Becuase in was making small over clocking was using a corsair 100i cooler.
a while ago when i cleaning i made a shortcut on cable and cooler stop working without getting aware i started the computer after ashort time pc slowed and shut down i got then aware of the problem. ( wasnt overclocking at that time.).
so i buyed a corsair H115i and installed it.
now my problem is without overclock on idle with full fan speed the cpu temperature 45-50C. in past that was 30-40C .I reinstalled it again with same result. ( I did in hurry time ).
This temperature problem can be a malfunction on CPU or shall i reinstall CPU with new termal more carefully?
Thank you

Never hurry when building a systyem or installing computer compenents. It's not a rush to be 1st you need to be sure eveything goes well and is installed and seated properly. You may need to re-toggle your CPU fan controller back to full instead of default PWM this can happen with older motherboards when installing a new AIO it can revert back to default - really depends on if you actually reseated your CPU physically. In any case before you reinstall the CPU and AIO just check your BIOS settings for the fan that is running the AIO fan (not the RAD).
