Hi,
hope you can enlighten me.

I want to add to my massive amount or RAM but i need to know what criteria to look for when buying.

Here is the system info:-

DIMM #1

General
Memory type SDRAM
Manufacturer (ID) Micron Technology (2CFFFFFFFFFFFFFF)
Size 256 MBytes
Max bandwidth PC133 (133 MHz)
Part number 8LSDT3264AG-133B2
Serial number A0036558
Manufacturing date Week 35/Year 02

Attributes
Number of banks 1
Data width 64 bits
Correction None
Registered no
Buffered no

I know my system will only let me have a max of 512Mb (2 x 256mb) and it has to be SDRAM but how many pins is it ? and do i need buffered or unbuffered. I looked on the RAM board itself and it doesn't tell me anything different to the above other then its CLS 3 !

Any ideas o great ones

Thanks for any advice

PC 133 SDRAM is 168 pin.
The 1 you are running is unbuffered and unregistered, which is
common for a PC.
Use the same,unregistered,unbuffered,non ECC.
To match your memory, which is Micron brand,
go to www.crucial.com

Thanks.

I will check it out. Crucial is a tad over priced compared to some UK sites where i live but i will make sure i buy the same spec.

Cheers and thanks for the advice.
