EEK!

Hi,

My web server has had problems since the day I put it all together. It has had many Blue Screens of Death with descriptions such as:

MEMORY_CORRUPTION
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORRUPTION

Now, I know exactly what your thinking, "You complete berk isn't it obvious?". Sorry to say no it isn't. I have had this with 6 sticks of memory, tried with different sticks together then sticks on their own but the same thing happens. It happens intermittently though, one time I had the server running non-stop for over a week but then other times its about an hour before the BSOD's. I was thinking, could it be the Motherboard?

Another thing that makes me suspect its the Motherboard is that one of the HDD's keeps dissapearing and not coming back before eventually reappearing.

The Server has 4 HDD's (C: 160GB SATA, D: 500GB SATAII, F: 1TB SATAII and a HDD used for backups which is 120GB SATA). Now all of them work apart from the 1TB SATA II which disappears intermittently.

If anyone can help me with either of these problems I would really appreciate it.

The Motherboard is an ASRock G31M-GS, the processor is an Intel Pentium 4 2.4Ghz, the graphics are on board the motherboard and the ram i have tried is - 4 sticks of value 1GB DDRII 800MHz and 2 sticks of Kingston 1GB DDRII 533MHz.

Unfortunately, the server is working at the moment so I don't have any error codes

My System

if you can get the error codes from event manager or note them down when one occurs then that will help us to identify the issue(s).
