Asus K8N-EAYVZ wont POST

OK I have got a new power supply and now the computer stays powered on, the cpu fan keeps going etc, however its not POSTing and obviously there is nothing on the monitor and there are no beep codes either!!

any idea what it could be?

Hi,

Did you remember to plug in the 12 volt square molex plug when you changed power supplies? That one is an easy one to miss.

yeah sorry i did try that, I've took it out of the case, changed the power supply and tried another stick of ram - its working!

So once again I'm having to send things back to ebuyer at my own cost!

thanks for all the help on here there are some good check lists etc for when we forget stuff!

particularly good was the checklist about the voltages etc!!

Oh well one problem solved...one computer left to build today then I can rest until tomorrow :D
