Hi I have an AMD 6400+ and in device manager it says my driver version is from 2006. I went to the AMD site and couldnt find any definite "driver" but any of the links that looked promising wouldnt work, including the dual core optimizer. I was wondering if there was another way to get them or if I really need them. Thanks!

I've never put in drivers for a cpu. Are you having some sort of problem with it?
don't know about the dual core optimizer, I use intel cpu's, haven't used an amd since K6.

CPU's use a single generic driver for all models, makes, families, revisions, and manufacturers. The driver for the CPU should come with Windows by default. You do not need to do any updates to it.
