I have a Dell inspiron n4050 laptop. by mistake I have updated my BIOS from A00 to A07/A08 from dell update center. Now my wlan driver doesnt install. It says not compatible with hardware. what can i do???

You might be able to go back to your old BIOS...try that first.

how can i do that? I have tried going back to older bios from dell update center,but it says you cannot go back to an older BIOS version

Have you tried resetting the BIOS to defaults?

yes,i have tried that...nothing happens...went to boot menu,resetted,but it still shows bios version A08...no way to change that... wlan card also doesn't install :(
