Doing a wireless project and client has got a very long length of this cable, which he was told could extend his network from his office to an outer building.

It is 5 Pairs and it is about 5 years old. He was told at the time "this is the best you can get to extend your network"

It is also same type of wire being used for his phone line into his office, but only 1 pair is being used in the BT Openreach "phone box" on the wall.

Can this be used to extend a network? If so how? He wants wireless in the outer building.

Armoured/reinforced BT cable mate, no idea if you can use it to extend the broadband. I'd be tempted to swap it for armoured/reinforced cat6, less hassle.

Best of luck with that.

[SOLVED] HDMI-HDCP Cable Problem
