hi, there's already a post about this, but I am unable to find it on my phone's browser.

I recently had my pc in for a format and windows reinstall. Now it seems my network drivers are gone. But when I try to install the Realtek Ethernet Controller driver it gives me the following error after the installation: 'The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable.'

The internet was working perfectly on this computer before the format. So I can't see how this could be a hardware issue? I also installed new RAM today, and the motherboard is an Msi Ms-7680, if these things are related to the error, please help?

Please help :(

Please post a screenshot of Device Manager with the Network Adaptor group expanded.

Its custom built, no brand or model? The OS and motherboard versions are in my original post. There is no Network Adaptors in my Device Manger, only Other Device with Ethernet Controller listed under it? O.O

Not sure if the photos were attached. I have to do this via mobile as the computer can't detect any network hardware. So I took photos. I'll post them again in this message.

Did you install the chipset driver first before trying to install the Ethernet driver?

Sometimes Msi boards have more than one model number Rich, I have never been able to figure that out. Corsair memory can be the same way, one of the reasons I pass on Corsair memory.
