Internet is very slow through wireless connectivity. Other wireless devices work properly. My Desktop is the Lenovo H520 (not H520s). I am running windows 8.1. Sometimes the card works perfectly and I got like 25 mbps download which is pretty great compared to the 0.69 mbps I usually get.

Solved the issue. Sometimes the computer would detect other networks with similar channels. What I monitored both Xirrus and Inssider to find the appropriate channel it took a while because the connections kept coming and going.

I solved the issue after playing with the router settings for 2 hours. The WMM feature (under QoS) was enabled and for some reason it was slowing down this PC at times. Once I turned it off I got better speeds. I also put power options to maximum performance.

It's not as good as wired but it's certainly better than before.
