Hello,

my first Q here (:
I have a device which getting RF data at 50kpbs. the device has a 10M ethernet interface to the outside world.

What will happen if i want to transfer all the incoming data through the ethernet interface to my PC?

Will the ethernet adaper match itself to this low speed (50kbps) or should i buffer the data and then send it at 10Mbps?

Is the answer work for all popular interfaces (USB,UART)?

Thanks
Nir

You don't need to do anything. Any data sent across ethernet will transfer at it's present speed unless/until you exceed the speed of the ethernet connection.
