I need to purchase a 10 foot ethernet cable to connect my Asus X102BA notebook to my router.

I want to get the best possible quality, but not to but something that is "over-spec".

What should I look for?

Thanks joeten

Given that it's a notebook, would there be much difference between cat6 and cat7?

OS: Windows10. In the past CP/M, DOS, Windows 95, 2000, 98SE, ME, Vista & Windows 7

My System

For 10' I don't see that it matters. If it has to be replaced in 10 years, so what? (a couple of bucks) It's like how people "upgraded" to Monster Cable for their hi-fi and said they got better sound quality through the speakers. I used lamp cord and couldn't tell the difference.
