I've been trying to port forward since a week now. I've been wanting to play on LAN with my sister via tunggle.

I have a NETGEAR WNR614 router, I've gone so far as to disable the firewall and I've also added 4 different ports in the portforwarding section of the routers set up page.

Still, no success, my tunngle shows the yellow face and says "Port closed". :(

Disabling the Firewall is NEVER OK, unless you're only testing for a short period of time and you enable it back, can lead to serious security issues.

I'm guessing tunggle is some kind of virtual LAN/Network solution and your sister and you are at different locations. I'm not sure why port forwarding is required, but from experience, I've used HAMACHI to play games over Virtual LAN and it seems to do the trick.

Install Hamachi, get signed in, create a virtual connection and have your sister register and you would be able to play over the network, no port-forwarding should be required.
