Hi guys,

I just bought a wifi extender Huawei WS322. I got the setup to run fine, and I was able to get it into repeater mode. But every time the repeater switches on, the main router disconnects the internet.

A little back story, my internet connection requires me to login to get the juice flowing. I do this using PPPoE on the wifi router (not repeater). My router is Dlink n300

It's confusing the hell out of me. My reasoning so far :

1.) The repeater is going into client mode, and it is disconnecting the main wifi router, since it tries to authenticate using PPPoE
2.) The repeater is going into repeater mode, but if it does why is the main router getting disconnected.

My setup is as below

Hardwire into router > one Ethernet cable out of wifi router into PC > Wifi to repeater

Any and all help for this is welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Regards
