Basically, I'm tired of being gouged by my cable company for a router that periodically decides it doesnt want to work. I currently have arris tg1682g with comcast, a plan speed of 150 mbps. What are some modems/wifi routers i could use that work well, consistently and dont break the bank?

Open to any suggestions and then I'll check and see if they work in my area with my plan. Thanks in advamce for anyone willing to help me!

If you are renting from Comcast, and due to all the constant upgrades these days that is the most economical way to go, you can often demand a new router which they will gladly give you.

All PC's are not the same. Posting your PC specs will help us to assist you quicker and more effectively.
