Hello all. I recently got a new modem from Time Warner and now Core FTP won't work. I've tried to log in using a user name and password and anonomous but it won't connect to the website either way. I have Core FTP as allowed through the Windows firewall and I have no virus protection programs other than Windows Defender. The error I get is: "An operation was attempted on something that is not a socket. Connection Failed". I'm using socket 21. I tried using 22 just for the heck of it, and it didn't work either. I decided to try a different ftp program but had the same results. I've used Core FTP for years with no problems and since the only variable is the new modem, I'm thinking it must be the culprit. Can anyone think of what to do now?? Thanks.
