Question

using wdb on HPUX

We are trying to run wdb to capture memory information of a c++ process running on HP-UX 11i. However, wdb fails to run with the below error
message:

................
Internal error : shlib_info_invalid missing in librtc!
It might be due to version mismatch of librtc and gdb(Version 5.7).
Hint: Use environment variable LIBRTC_SERVER to pick correct version of librtc.
.............

What version of librtc is gdb(wdb) expecting here? Appreciate your help !

Below environment variables were accordingly set:
RTC_INIT = on
LIBRTC_SERVER = /opt/langtools/lib

Below are the details for gdb and librtc currently installed on the system:

Librtc:
librtc.sl:
Hewlett-Packard Wildebeest 5.7 14-Jun-2007 05:16 hppa1.1-hp-hpux11.00

And gdb version information:
gdb:
$Revision: 92453-07 linker linker crt0.o B.11.53 060807 $
Hewlett-Packard Wildebeest 5.7 14-Jun-2007 05:16 hppa1.1-hp-hpux11.00
