OS: windows 8

I have a server that I found in a tech dump at my school, and have been trying to change the OS. It is the Omneon MediaDirector 2101 which has no USB ports. There are IEEE 1394 ports however. Would it be possible to load a new OS through these as you would with a bootable usb on a pc?

My System

This hardware has no physical storage space. The Operating System for this hardware is stored on internal ROM or EPROM (for updates) and its current OS has been designed to work this its hardware only. Its not in essence a server but more of a controller.

What you have is a Server Controller thats part of a larger setup.
It uses the IEEE 1394 ports to connect and manage the MediaStore which is a large array of HDDs. Thought the various ports it can utilize Software RAID to stack mulitple MediaStore devices.
