Hi

i recently recovered a few files from my Hard Drive,(They are not relevant to Firefox) It was after this, i realised that my sessions were not being saved. For example on Google, my password and email are saved and i have the " Remember me on this computer" option checked. After logging in, i close Firefox and re-open, yet i have to login again.

This happens with every website where i have my user/pass stored. (Sites such as Gamefaq, Digg, IGN, IMDB etc.)

What seems to be the problem? I have already asked in the main Firefox forums, but no reply.

Thanks, Much Appreciated :)

Hi,

When was the last time that you cleared your cache and cookies? This can solve a lot of problems. Also, when you do that make sure that authenticated sessions is checked. That can cause a problem.

Cheers!

Hi,

Have you tired running FF without any extensions or addons. This can help to see if it is a problem with FF or one of the extensions or addons. Try that and tell me what happens.

Cheers!

So, are the folks over at Tech Support Guy Forum giving you any help? Or are we all just spinning your wheels, and when where you going to tell them that you were getting help from this forum as well?

Also, what where the files that you recovered from your hdd. You might think that they aren't important to FF, but they could have a registry connections. I don't recommend that you go hunting in your registry.

Cheers!
