I have no clue where to post this. I have a question about Google. How can you prevent your email address from coming up in the search results? My concern is it shows for the message boards and groups I am on. I would like to have my address removed and I know there used to be a way you could request it. I can't seem to find info at this time. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

My System

In IE / Tools / Internet Options / General Tab
Click Clear History
Apply / Ok

Or put your pointer on the entries and press
the delete key on web pages.
Disable AutoComplete
https://www.itistudy.com/autocomplete.asp

In Firefox, Tools / Options / Privacy / Saved Form Information > Clear / Ok
Or put your pointer on the entry and press the Shift+Delete keys
at the same time.

Click on the Google logo next to the Google Toolbar's search box,
then choose "Clear Search History" from the drop-down box that
appears.

Pencil

I figured it out but thank you for trying to help. For any future people who also want the info, here's how you do it:

You must be using the same email account that you created the post with that you want to remove from searches and group archives.

Go to google.com then click on groups then help.

Click on the "How do I remove my own posts" link to the right of your screen and follow the directions from there. Pretty simple and it works. I was able to delete those sensitive items I don't want shown now.

Be aware though, if someone else posted a reply and you again replied to that, you will have to go through the whole thread to then remove any items you had posted to the thread.
