Toshiba laptop charging issue

My charger makes unusula noise when charging the laptop as it sparks inside..does anybody know why this happen..This is not the original charger and it's second-hand one

Cheap AC chargers/bricks do cause a low humming/sparking noise since they emit high frequency sounds, doesn't necessarily mean they're bad, just that there is not enough shielding for the various components being used and can hamper devices in the long run. If there is visible sparking, then yes, you might want to replace it.

If it throws sparks it needs to be tossed away.

You're far better off buying an inexpensive aftermarket charger that matches the specs and connector type for your computer than using a defective one that will eventually destroy something beyond itself.

Now, it's very clear why this sounds like this..Still, I'm not experiencing visible sparks...Thank you for making me aware of a clear explanation.
