What browser are you using? (eg) IE, Chrome Firefox? Can you sign in to Yahoo mail?
Go to Start/Run and type CMD and press enter. In the Command Prompt type ping mail.yahoo.com and press enter. Do you get any replies?
If not, in the command prompt type ipconfig /all and press enter. Highlight the text and paste it in your next post.

No, it doesn't look like it. Be sure you are logged in as an Administrator user, not a limited user.
Go to Start/Run and type CMD and press enter.
In the Command Prompt: C:\Documents and Settings\Dan-Administrator> Type
ipconfig /all and press enter. There is a space between the G and the /
Copy the text and paste it in your next post.
To Renew the IP address, at the Command Prompt type
ipconfig /release and press enter. The IP address will change to 0.0.0.0, now type
ipconfig /flushdns and press enter. Now type
ipconfig /registerdns and press enter. Now type
ipconfig /renew and press enter. If you still can't connect type
ipconfig /all and copy the text and paste it in your next post
