OS: Win XP

Hello from the Great NW,

I recently built a new machine on a 939 socket Gigabyte GA-K8n Pro-SLI board and installed an AMD 64 X2 4200+ processor. Haven't had any real hardware issues, but recently attempted to run Windows Update and ran into problems. The OS install CD came with SP2, so I didn't have to update online (which was a relief) and all the other Windows Updates went off without a hitch. I did not allow the WGA notify udate to unstall on my machine because of all the reported problems. The following updates are what I am having a problem with:

Update for Windows XP (KB922582)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB919007)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB920685)
Update for Windows XP (KB920872)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB925486)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB923414)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB924496)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB923191)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB924191)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB922819)

I downloaded KB922582 straight from the Microsoft download page and saved the file on my Desktop to try and install it manually but received and error as follows: "ANS1 bad tag value met."

Do any of you have a suggestion? I could certainly use your help.

Thanks,
Keith R
