When loading into Windows, I always get these error messages:
"Install fail due to cannot find the specifed file", "Can't find the mboard ID". Anyone of you had this problem before? Please help.
Thank you for the reply.
Lydokane:
these are the messages exactly:
"IOCTL_MBDRVR_READ_MBID", "Cannot get the mainboard ID!", "The handle is invalid.", "Scan PCI device failed!"
eneles:
It did get past the welcome screen. i.e. Windows does load.

I did not change anything to the system.
Not only 1 system has these error messages whenever loading windows. There are a few which are different brand/model. I did scan all system for viruses but no viruses found. I am using AVG Network Edition.
I have the same problem since yesterday, when I installed a flash memory stick. The device doesn't appear in Autorun.inf and it seems it wants to load a certain application on startup, maybe an operating system. That memory stick wasn't mine.
