Hi

I'm trying to help my neighbour who deleted her XP login profile. I can recreate the profile but there were some Word docs on the desktop of the deleted profile she'd like back if possible. They aren't in the any recycle bin and (you guessed it.....no she didn't take a backup of them).

Is there any way to recover these files?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Gav

My System

I have seen this used with success, but I myself have never used it -

Worth giving Recuva a go.

Here is my backup tutorial for your perusal. Lots free with a couple I use that cost.......but worth every penny in my opinion.

Good luck,

kind regards,
