OS: Windows 10 64 bit

My System

Uninstall Ispy. does that fix the problem? If so, that's your issue.
Now reinstall Ispy, Does the behavior return? Then That's your issue.
As you know, XP has not been supported for a few years now, older apps may work, but newer versions of an app probably won't work on XP. So, you can't update to solve a problem. You are better off installing some version of Linux like Ubuntu

Did you use the iSpy installer?

Have you tried copy file into zip file. Delete file and copy back. This will create file with default NTFS security belong to (assume you have admin priveleges)

Does that make any difference?
