My pc has been very slow lately. When I reboot the first process that I see that xp asks me to end has no name just a line of boxes and symbols. I would like to find out if this is a remote access process or whatever it is because I have never seen it before and it makes me nervous. Can you help me find out what it is and remove it? Thanks for your help.

Download Autoruns & save to My Documents.
https://live.sysinternals.com/autoruns.exe

Run the Autoruns.exe, once it's finished - File > Save.

Save the file and zip up the file and upload to your next post.

This will allow me to see what exactly is running on startup.

Take it easy,

Autoruns does not show anything out of the ordinary for your startup processes.

Could you please take a screenshot of the dialog box and upload it here?
