How can I stop my mouse (Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0) from waking my XP SP3 Dell 4400 from waking up my pc. I looked online and mine does not have the "Mouse wake Pc Question?" under the properties of the mouse in the device manager. Someone please help because everytime I push my keyboard tray in it turns on or I bump my desk. So annoying.

This can be done within the mouse software or the BIOS.

"Just Check up with your PC tutorials, Just cutting down the speed should help you"

What does that even mean? Adjusting the mouse speed will not prevent the mouse from waking the computer and it will make it respond differently under normal operation.

And what is your kick with references to "PC tutorials" and "tips and tricks". You sound like you are spamming.
