My friend recently built a new computer. He found out that the stand by button is greyed out. He's worried that something might be wrong with his system. He wants his stand by button to work. What should he do?
thanks in advance

Hi gx9900wz, this can sometimes happen due to graphics card drivers. Advise your friend to double check that he is using the correct ones....if all appears well, perhaps try a different version??

Ctrl + Alt + Delete to get into processes

And at the top tab you should see 'File' 'Options' 'View' and 'Shut down'

Click on 'ShutDown' and scroll down to 'Stand-by'

this is just one way of putting the computer on standby :P
