My cousin recently downgraded my ACER ASPIRE 5100 laptop from Vista to XP, but he formated the recovery partition and installed XP on there, now known as the F:/ drive.
So when i started up my computer, i noticed that nothing worked, my sound, wireless, only my video. I got my wireless internet drivers installed and as soon as that started working I downloaded the rest of the device drivers, but none of them seem to work. Most of them I could live without but sound is a must.
I have tried insatlling 3 different sound drivers but none of them work

Have you tried this page:
https://support.acer-euro.com/drivers...k/as_5100.html
?

Select the drivers in the drop down list under Windows XP and save and install.

Is there a question mark next to your sound device in the Device Manager even after installing those drivers?
