I have numerous batch files that open Microsoft Access database forms with specific macros for each. These are called from a command button inside our CAD software. All the batch files work fine. However, some people are running these on dual monitor systems. When the run the batch file via a command button, it opens the Access form correctly but displays the CMD window. Is it possible open the CMD window minimized (but not the Access form).

No biggie here, but just an inquiry – keeps the screen a bit less cluttered…

Thanks,
SKK

I was looking up on this and it seems the easiest way is to run it from another batch file.

Link the command button to a different batch file and include in that batch file something to this effect
Code:
start "" /min batch.bat
where batch.bat is the name of the batch file you want to call. I have tested it and it works well, if you need any clarity just ask.

Ahhh superb - that did it....

I had to remove the /min but left the START "" BATCH.bat. With the /min it closed all including my Access window. Removing the /min closed only the cmd window and leaves my Access window open.

Thanks again,
SKK
