EEK!

I was given an older computer by a friend and it is SUPER slow! I tried to uninstall some of the programs left by said friend via the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS option.

Some of the programs I cannot remove, I get this message:
Error 1327. Invalid Drive F:/

Is there any way to remove the program another way? These programs take up a lot of space and I'd like desperately to get rid of them.

Thanks.

Sounds like the programs were installed onto the F: drive which is no longer present. It's also possible the programs want the software CD in drive F: to gather information. In any case, when Add and Remove programs doesn't work, you have to do it manually. Simply delete the program folder. You may also want to search the registry for all references to the program and remove them.
