No biggie but I want to find out what is causing this problem. I cannot sign in to my Verizon phone account.
Something is blocking this apparently. I can access the site, enter my correct user and password and am taken right back to the sign in page. No errors nothing. Now I said to myself--self-try to access the account on another

computer. I did on a computer running XP as this one is and there was no problem. I contacted Verizon and they can enter my credentials and access the account with no problem so this must be a setting on this one computer causing the problem. I can sign in to a half dozen other accounts I have with no problem. Any ideas as to what is causing this?

Both are running IE 7 but on one as I said I cannot sign in to Verison. Makes no sense to me. I also put Verison in the trusted sites and cookies are the same on each computer.

Delete your internet cache. Also in Browsing History, go to Settings, and make sure Check For Newer Versions of Stored Pages Every Time I visit a Web Page is checked.

Delete the cache, history, done all of that before also I have had SP 3 since it was offered. I have stumped two more forums with this problem and seems like this will be number three in spite of all the super geeks to help. Oh well I have no problem signing in with Firefox or the other computer with XP. THanks guys.

Don't want IE 8. I would still use IE 6 if the support was still there.
If it ain't broke don't fix it. That is the first things I did. Update Flash and Java. Now what?

IE8 may well be the solution and if nothing esle an update to it resets all the parameters of the browser, and since you have tried every other known fix, why not try that?
