I bought a new HP computer which came with Windows XP already installed. After purchasing, I realised that this computer was downgraded from VISTA to XP professional.

The only disks that came with the computer are VISTA recovery disks. But no XP recovery disks.

If is create a recovery disk using the HP CD Recovery CD-DVD Creator program, will this create a recovery disk for Windows XP or VISTA?

There is no serial sticker at the bottom. I could be mistaken, but i think the HP reseller downgraded the pc themselves.

Any idea is HP charges for these disks??
