I have 20+ computers with an OEM version of Windows XP Professional. I am having a problem with three of the computers and would like to format the hard drive and start from scratch. Do you foresee any problems with installing Windows XP and all necessary software on one computer and then create a disk image, then format the hard drives of the other computers and then copy the disk image to the other computers. Would there be any problems with the Windows XP product key? Is there an easy way to change the Windows XP product key?

The Hardware would have to be identical on all three pc's and you would probably have to reactivate each one.

What barand and model are they?

They are all Dells but different models. Would it be easy just to reactivate with a different product key.

When you reinstall XP using the dell Reinstallation disc, you normally do not have to activate. But if the pc's are not exactly the same, it probably will not boot on the other pc's
