You are going to need to upgrade your machine if you wish to upgrade Windows.

You could upgrade that to Windows 7 most likely but I wouldn't do it these days without at least 2 Gb ram and 4 would be a lot better. You could go here and let Microsoft tell you if you are compatible:

Looks like shared ram, depending on how old the computer is and type of ram, it may be cheaper to pick up a used system with 7 on it, either through Craig's list or a local computer store.

I had a old Toshiba laptop with a T1200 single core and 1.5 gig of ram, it ran just fine on Windows 7 32 bit.
With higher versions(8,8.1,or 10) you would have to use the generic Microsoft video driver so I would not go past Win 7.

Looks like you have 2GB of RAM and a chunk of that is shared with your Video.
As suggested, you can install Windows 7. Unfortunately, there is no clear "Update" path. To install Windows 7, you would have to save your personal files to another drive, as the Windows 7 install will wipe your drive of the previous OS and files when it installs.
As also stated, this is an older computer and you could get a new/used computer from Craigslist, Ebay or Amazon that would be faster and run Windows 7 or 10 for about the same price as buying a Windows 7 install disc.
