I can only access https websites, not http. I have tried pinging google and it works so I know my internet is working. I have tried restarting the computer, disconnecting and then reconnecting the internet and it still only lets me connect using https. When I try to visit a website with http it says the connection was reset. This happens in every browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera). How can I get my internet working properly again?

Temporarily disable whatever firewall you are using. If that solves the problem, it's a setting in the firewall that's causing it - possibly it's blocking port 80 which is the port used for browsing non-secure (http) pages.

I disabled my firewall but I am still having problems connecting using http. It gives the error "Connection Reset by Peer"

Then check if your router is causing it, since it has it's own hardware firewall which may be blocking port 80. Quicker than delving into the router's settings is to temporarily use a different router. If that removes the block, you know your normal router needs re-configuring.
