When I boot up my PC it gives me a missing DLL error.
It tell me the following DLL is missing or corrupted: Windows Root\System32\Hal.dll
I'm using a third party application that allows me to boot into PE and navigate around windows' files. When trying to navigate to the System32 folder so that I can replace the DLL, I can't find the folder in the Windows folder.
Normally, the System32 folder is located under the Windows or Winnt folder. My System32 folder is located in: C:/Win/i386/System32
When I try placing the DLL in this folder, I still get the missing DLL error.
Anyone know what might be going on?
Thanks
